Victor Health Center issued the following announcement.
The UnityPoint Health® - Grinnell Regional Medical Center (GRMC) Foundation is a nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board who provides guidance for fundraising efforts. The Foundation informs and educates donors and the local communities regarding the work of UnityPoint Health - Grinnell, while providing encouragement and opportunities to support GRMC’s mission. Financial support to the GRMC Foundation helps maintain quality health care services, equipment and programs with one hundred percent of all gifts staying local to benefit area health care programs and needs.
The Foundation Board welcomes Dawn Disney-Bruggeman as their newest board member. Disney-Bruggeman lives in Montezuma and is the Office Deputy for the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office. She also serves on the Iowa State Sheriffs’ and Deputies’ Association Board and provides contract services for the Poweshiek County 911 Board.
“I am looking forward to gaining insight to another form of public service, meeting new people and assisting the GRMC Foundation Board with continued growth and improvement of health care services to local citizens,” says Disney-Bruggeman.
Disney-Bruggeman is welcomed by 2020 GRMC Foundation Board officers: Dennis Day, Chair; Sig Barber, Vice Chair; and Debbie Pohlson, Secretary/Treasurer. Returning members include: Richie Berman; David Cranston, MD; Jessica Dillon; Larry Jansen; William Lynch; Brian Manatt; Chad Nath; Shannon Reding; Ginger Sterk; and Susan Witt.
GRMC Foundation Board members serve a three-year term and can serve up to four consecutive terms. Members who completed their terms on the Board in 2019 included Leila Maring, Leonard Seda and Dave Vander Linden.
